Dry eyes

Hi!
My bill terrier had been diagnosed with dry eyes all of a sudden. Symptoms started out of the blue. He has been on a raw lamb blend diet that we switched to strictly beef . The vet suggested medication and antibiotics into his eye that we would have to use and purchase for the rest of his life.
Has anyone dealt with this? Is there a cure to this besides medication?

Hard to believe your Bull Terrier would require medication for the rest of its life.
I've had Rescues dropped off with us with Dry Eye and with a good diet and some ointment it went away and never came back.

Thanks for your reply. He’s on what seems to be a very good brand of raw beef. What ointment do you recommend?
He also has itchiness in his ears but not sure if it related ????????‍♀️ We’re at a loss every time we bring him to a vet they throw him on antibiotics apoques and the ointment for dry eyes but it’s all temporary relief

Apoquel is bad news and will compromise his immune system. I'd be very wary about giving that to your Bull Terrier regardless what your Vet suggests.
