Pred side affects

Hello, has anyone experience steroid side affects, like open bleeding sore on legs and poo with red blood marks? Is it side affects? Hes been on pred for 5 days, 3 days 10mg and last 2 on 5 mg, i stoped giving to him cos i think its from this medication. Any one have anything similar?
