Can they get along with other dogs?

Hey everyone I have a question regarding people's experience with dog aggression and bull terriers. I adopted a 4 month old bull terrier January 2021. He had come from a byb. His parents were full siblings which made him inbred and he had no socialization. From the start he did great with me and got along with my 2 pugs but always HATED kids. I did positive reinforcement training with him and tried socializing him. I think the damage was done though and the aggression got worse. He tried to bite multiple people and ended up killing a dog (my boyfriend's). The veterinarian I work for and my dog trainer both agreed euthanasia was needed in this case. It killed me but now that I've had a bull terrier I can't imagine life without one. With proper socialization, training, and good bloodlines can they get along with other dogs? I believe they can but I want to hear from other owners.

Yes my Memphis gets a bit triggered with my cat and if I don’t intervene early he is naughty and now Moose thinks it’s ok too to chase the cat
You can never truly let your guard down with a bully
Yes you have to be on top of it all the time with a bully. My Memphis gets triggered with my cat but I have to intervene early and then it’s fine whilst he’s still learning lol
