Male bull terrier, licking and scratching tummy raw, not healing

My 4 year old male were neutered about 2 months ago. He healed quite well, but within the last 2 weeks he has been licking and scratching his tummy area alot, to the extend that its licked raw and there is sores. It is showing no signs of healing. He has never had skin problems in the past, so this is very concerning. I am hoping it is only allergy related and nothing more serious, and I am considering a cycle of antibiotics. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Is he on any flea medication? It could be the allergic reaction to flea bites.

Oh wow! I would definitely get it checked out because I am almost entirely sure at the very least they will want to give you antibiotics and possibly even a cream to help it not itch!! Hope your baby gets better
