Hi guys!
I just wanted to ask how old were your dogs when they started their first heat? Oooor at what age did you spay them?

She just turned 6 months and I want to spay her asap

1st heat cycle is normally around 7 months of age. I wouldn't recommend spaying your dog until she is fully mature. Truthfully I personally wouldn't have her sexual organs surgically removed at all unless it was medically warranted. I think many people spay their dogs for their own convenience vice what's best for the dog. I realize many Vets put pressure on owners to spay and neuter their dogs and try to say that it's a healthy choice but newer research have proven that not to be true.
