I recently saw a red/white/smut with a white saddle in the middle of her back. I was always under the impression that saddles were not breed standard, yet more and more I see them. Are they okay on tri's? I believe if the dog is being promoted as a white they are not allowed.

@Oma - Saddleback marks (Splash Marks) are actually fairly common among colored Bull Terriers and they are accepted within the Breed Standards. However, white Bull Terriers should not have saddleback marks. Sadly, I'm seeing more and more white Bull Terriers with colored spots on their body. With White Bull Terriers there should be no colored markings on their body at all.

This saddleback mark is perfectly acceptable due to it being a colored Bull Terrier.
But personally I prefer to see no saddleback markings on any Bull Terriers.

Guess splash marks on colored bullies are acceptable by new standards? My older EBT books say only tuxedo, muzzle, socks and the tip of the tail in colored EBT are acceptable. But at Westminster dog show a lot of colored EBTs have saddleback marks.
