Chances are you waited far too long to start tape training the ears. It would be extremely difficult to train the ears to stand now because the cartilage has hardened and your dog has not been using the muscles in his ears to keep the ears erect.

Awe! I'm sure it wouldnt hurt to try! You've gotta be pretty persistent with it even at a young age so if you stay on top of it (id expect for a lot longer than we would at a younger age) it could help him build muscle and straighten them out! Just make sure you give your baby all the goodies to help them (calcium, gelatin, cottage cheese) to see if they will keep their shape! I had to play around a lot to see how I could get Mos to leave them alone, nonethless, even the best tape job I did I'd have to redo frequently 8-} love their stubborness X_X
