Is frozen home cooked ok?

Hey all been awhile since I posted (about a year) Hammer and I have been on lots of great adventures since I last posted and even moved states.

Anyway, Hammer has been eating Royal Canine now for as long as I can remember. He has always been a picky eater and is often skipping meals. I have friends who make up and freeze meals for their dogs, and I was wondering how good The nutrition from this is, and does anyone has advice on where to start with recipes?

In the past I have made homecooked food for the dogs allowed them to cool completely and then frozen just make sure the meals are balanced
