New Mini and Hello
We are proud new first time Bully parents of a 12wk dark brindle and white female mini named Dollybird. We are not new to terriers as we are lifelong Border Terrier owners. The Border has the same independent, stubborn personality. I have introduced Dollybird to my very agreeable, 6yr neutered male border. They are getting along well, but she does like to play very rough and is quite the cheap shot artist. She tries to nurse from him and he does not appreciate that at all. She seems to be taking to housebreaking nicely. I am feeding Farmina Lamb and Blueberry. She is taking to the leash and we have gone on several on lead and off lead walks where she falls in nicely getting that pack thing going. She was the last of the litter who stayed 4 extra weeks living in the house with the dam/sire. She listens and has pretty good manners for a pup. I have her enrolled in a 9 week quality puppy program which starts in a week.
