Allergies to grass?

Hello All, I’m super glad to find a site to help me with my white bully, Chico. This is my first bully and we love him dearly.
He is 16 months and I’ve noticed severe shedding and dullness of issues. As I’m reading the threads, Chico may be lacking some nutrient in his diet. He is currently on Taste of the Wild, pacific. As well as 1tbs of coconut oil/ day. If anyone thinks another brand is better or suggestions, please let me know.
I’m also wondering if Chico is allergic to the grass? We live next to a park, where he loves to run and play in the grass with other dogs but for the past 2 weeks we have not allowed him to go to the park, simply to explore if he has environmental allergies too. Do any of you have any advice or have dealt with the same situation? I just feel bad because he’s a social doggie, although some dogs may feel he’s annoying.....lol. I don’t want to take that away from him!!!
Thanks!!!
