How is this EBT AKC Registered

Came across this Breeder on FB & IG who claims to have the only Blue Tri Colored BT in the World/US that is AKC Registered & DNA tested for colors carried/produced and he can produce Blue/Chocolate & Lilac colored EBT’s and all pups will be AKC registered as his sires & dams are registered. I would never buy one but wondering how this is allowed when Blue & Lilac are not EBT approved colors?

Designer breeders like the one who owns this dog are shamed by those who hold great respect for the Breed Standards. Breeding dogs to emulate the breed standards is the goal of any responsible breeder and to produce puppies with exemplary qualities isn't easy. There are so many areas within the breed standard which are defined in detail which makes it difficult to ever produce the "perfect" dog. Conformation shows allow breeders an unbiased review of well each dog shown emulate the Breed Standards. Those that continue earning recognition in shows will eventually earn their Champion title based on their individual qualities compared to the other dogs they competed against. It's a lot of work and there's a lot of pride in producing dogs with these type of qualities.
On the flip side, "Designer Breeders" disregard every aspect of the Breed Standards and actually only focus their attention on one thing - producing a faulted colored dog. Their goal is create an awe with people naive to recognizing the color isn't hard to produce. Yes, the color might be rare but the ONLY reason the color is rare is because responsible breeders are NOT trying to produce faulted colors or markings. These designer dogs are not considered special, unique, rare, or some diamond in the ruff. they are misfits produced by irresponsible breeders would compromise the future integrity of the breed.
It's shameful to see breeders trying their best to fool people into thinking a faulted colored dog hold a high price tag due to its rarity. People fall for it too and the health, temperament, and all aspects of the Breed Standard are completely overlooked when these misfits are being sold.
Sadly, there will always be designer breeds within all canine breeds and National Registries do little to prevent it. In most cases the registries (like AKC) have no idea what these breeders are doing. It isn't as if they are registering these dogs with the correct color because these faulted colors aren't even an option to choose from when annotating the color of each specific dog being registered.
The only reason Designer Breeders continue to grow in numbers is because there aren't enough people putting out knowledge and education about the importance within the Breed Standards.
