No luck in finding puppy :(

Hello Everyone! I'm so glad to find this forum. I've been reading posts for a few days now trying to find some answers to my questions. I'm actively looking for a male EBT puppy. I love this breed and wanted to have this beautiful dog for a very long time. Sadly to say I have a very difficult time in finding one. I ran into some scammers a few times after which I've decided to look for a "responsible" breeder on AKC.org site. Looks like the breeders listed on there are not scammers but not all that responsible.

I am talking to a one breeder for a couple of weeks now whose puppy I want to purchase. I asked her a lot of questions about Sire and Dam, their health etc, and she diligently answered all of my questions. So I put a deposit down. Now she sends me a picture of their certified pedigree which I started to research. Apparently both of the parents came from a puppy mill. There are several violations that has been posted across internet about the breeders of Sire and Dam and the conditions these dogs were in. I was horrified. Now I'm not sure what to do.

Another breeder that I found someone already mentioned on here. It's a Big Oaks Range located in Hot Springs. The breeder has 3 beautiful miniature puppies available but now I'm too scare and paranoid about everything. His puppies have gorgeous markings but do they look standard and acceptable? I don't really know. I didn't find many bull terriers with markings like that. I attached some pictures of the puppy and hoping someone can comment on it.

Sorry for the long text but I feel like I can get some advice here. Currently I'm a little frustrated with search for a puppy and somewhat lost in this process.

Thanks in advance.

Something that I think thousands of people are fooled by is the thought that by seeing a breeder listed on AKC's website that they are a reputable breeder. Yes AKC is America's National Canine Registry but this does not mean they only welcome reputable breeders.
AKC is a profitable organization and they certainly want to make as much money as feasibly possible. But in fairness this is goal of most all companies.
AKC isn't listing breeders on their "Breeders" page for free or doing it as if they know who these breeders are. AKC is charging them for their services to list them in order to gain attention to the public. Truth is, reputable breeders have bloodlines that are known and sought after and do NOT have any need to pay a 3rd party to advertise for them in order to gain visits to their website and contact information.

I wrote an article a few years on "How to Find a Reputable Bull Terrier Breeder." Many breeders actually despise the fact that I outlined all the key factors which should be considered. I also made light of what some breeders are not doing and what questions you should be asking breeders.

Now a days it's very important to conduct thorough research on any breeder prior to purchasing a puppy that's going to become a loyal family member for many years.

I highly encourage you to read the following article: https://bulliesofnc.com/finding-reputable-bull-terrier-breeder/

Additionally - I'm not sure where the puppy photos originated from but those photos of that puppy you posted above are faulted due to the markings. You may find the markings to be unique or rare but that's because a Brindle and White is not supposed to look like that by having so much white per the Breed Standard. If you read the Breed Standard you be able to validate what I'm mentioning is correct and may be quick to realize the qualities of that puppy aren't exactly what you thought.

Thank you for replying. I appreciate your advice and the information you have provided. It is unfortunate that so many people are fooled by AKC organization including me but I have learned in this process.

Regarding the photos that I posted earlier.. that is exactly what I thought, that the color is not what it should be for the brindle type dogs and that is why I asked. I do not know why it even bothers me because the markings on these pups are interesting but it does.

It is definitely not an easy process and there is so much to take under consideration but I am determined that I will find the one. When I do I will post some pictures. :)
