Hi there everyone. Eric is doing really well. I just wanted to ask at 17 weeks what his weight should be? He currently is 10.2kg.

He has started to walk now when our, and done a few toilets too, but still been going in the house. All on the training pads though so that’s good.

We have cracked the ‘sit’ command. Just working on lay now.
His recall has improved too.

Just wanted to ask to make sure he is weighing in right.

It's a hard one to answer as size and weight vary so much in the breed. If he is eating well and looks good then happy days.

Nala

At 16 weeks Nala weighed 8.4kg so quite a bit lighter, but she's very lean and females tend to be smaller.

Bully breeds tend to not like the laying down position so it's harder to teach.


Nala looks similar to Eric actually.

Just to check on weight again.

He’s 7 months and weighs 23.5kg.

Needs to go on a bit of a diet?

Let's see a recent photo of him. 23.5kg (50lbs) is not a lot for many Bull Terriers that are more "Bull" type.

I think he looks healthy. Quite muscular I reckon. Think when I went vets they looked at charts rather than specific bull

He actually looks a lot lighter than described. Based on his appearance he looks fine. He certainly isn't in need of a diet.
