vomiting in the early morning

hello everyone-

My bullie will hack and little and then vomit up a little green/yellow bile in the early am about once every 7-10 days. He eats 3 times a day and is pretty active daily. I feed him taste of the wild and have since he was about 6 weeks old. He is always in good spirits and is wagging his tail after he vomits. He does drink a fair amount of water daily. I fill his bowl (about 20oz) probably 4 times a day. I will call him and get his attention sometimes when he drinks a lot at one time to slow him down. I had his stool tested and he is free from anything in there.

I have read that this can happen if they are only fed once a day and it has been a lone time since they ate. But he eats multiple times a day usually has dinner at about 7pm and then we sleep from 11-6am. Walks are typically before dinner and we do play some in the evening as well but nothing within 30min or so of eating. I am curious if anyone has any tips for me to help alleviate his issue or something to try.

Thank you. I do enjoy visiting this site often to read and catch up with all that is happening. I really do love to see everyone pics and read all the random/funny stories. Makes me realize that my bullie isn't the only silly one.

Mine had this problem at that age for about a week. I was told it was because there was to much of a gap between evening meal and the morning meal. As a result his stomach had nothing to process and the bile was a result.

I changed his meal times so the evening was later...

Good luck.. Now mine is older (18months), he only eats once a day about 6pm and he is fine.. As a pup he would have bouts of sickness and the better food timing of his meals sorted it.
