My Bull terrier Goldie is growing up fast and has been such a delight to our family. Just wondering if any other bullies portray this characteristic. Its been super hot in Toronto lately dont know if that plays a role because it usually happens when she's in the shade. Anyways will be walking and she'll go on her belly with rear legs extended back then she uses her front legs and crawls along for about a foot. Ill tell her to come and she jumps up and runs untill she finds the next shady area and does it again. usually only happens on super humid days and at the end of our walk. I think its kind of amusing. any other bully crawlers out there >?

Yeah I think it's a common bully thing. If ours is having a good old stretch he will crawl the length of the living room very funny to watch they have some weird characteristics 8-}

That's Very common with this breed. They often lay in this position to relax too.

Our young one Auggie will crawl from her crate to the stairs , she has to negotiate a corner and a doorway but she stays on the belly. When we are outside she will crawl the length of the yard even its cold and well. We are in Northern Canada and she even did it in the snow when we first brought her home.

I think the crawling thing is a bull terrier trait mine does it all the time … cracks me up

Reagan does this. We called it "land-swimming". She does it when she's frisky or getting fired up too.

Found her laying like that in the living room and found her sleeping on her back as well with her legs up lol
