eating

My 7 month old eating most everything she comes in contact with when outside: leaves, grass, flowers, rabbit poop...everything. Then the dried leaves get stuck in her throat and she coughs but continues to eat the item. I pull her away, but she will find something else like a shark. She threw up in the house and I don't understand what is causing this behavior.

Normally when a dog eats grass and leaves it's because they have stomach or digestive discomfort. What food and diet do you have her on?

  • Mine will put just about anything in her mouth although she is getting a little better now that she is 11 months old .I just figured it was a puppy thing. Just be thankful she isn't eating poop ... I have 2 other dogs and yes she likes to eat there poop " YUCK " I have tried everything and so far the only thing that works is making sure it is picked up as soon as they go .
