hi. i have a 14 week old standard bully male.. Two people today asked me if he was a mini puppy because he was small for his age. he is 14 week and 20lb. does that some about right for his age or is he small. his dad was very large and so was his mother

I wouldn't worry one bit

Here is a video of my two where I took a picture and weighed them every week

My male max was about 25 pounds if I recall at 14 weeks but that was day one of the 14 weeks

He is 13 months old right now and just under 60 pounds

His sister was around 20 pounds at 14 weeks and she is in the low 50's now

I like keeping puppies fat till a few months old than I thin them out at about 6 months and let them out weight on slow

I believe it's better on the joints and keeps them healthier

I have seen dogs that people tried to bulk up to early and splayed toes and bad joints were the end result



Your guy looks great

Feed him healthy and don't worry about weight to much

Mine was 13lbs at 12 weeks and she's a standard. She has no fat on her and great muscle definition at such a young age. Not sure if it's a good thing or not but she eats like a pig!!
