Adult EBT behavior change
Hello, I'm a new member seeking advice on my adult male bull terrier. The past two days he has been behaving strangely, outside of his normal energetic and playful self. Yesterday he would not get out of bed and come down the stairs for morning potty time and breakfast. I actually had to pick him up and carry him (which he hated). He would not eat his breakfast nor drink water. I initially thought he had hurt a front leg/paw as he is very careful when walking and will not jump up on the furniture or do the stairs. I tried feeding him his normal dry food by hand and he wanted nothing to do with it. I eventually grabbed some wet canned food to try and he ate it up while being spoon fed. I put his water in a smaller dish and held it up so he did not have to lower his neck to drink and this worked. However he is not drinking as much as normal. Today I did get him to come down the stairs after a couple of hours of coaxing in the morning. He has been very quiet and has spent most of the day sleeping, but is very reluctant to get on the couch or climb the stairs. His bowel movements are normal. Has anyone experienced similar behaviors with their bully's? Is it possible he has pulled a muscle in his neck and it has caused him to act in such a way? I plan to seek veterinary care if things don't change within the next couple of days. Thank you in advance for your time and help.

Take him to the vets and get him checked out if he is a more mature male consider getting his kidneys tested as it can be an issue with the breed. Sorry to hear he is feeling unwell hopefully he will be back to his old self soon enough
