  • I don't know about the limp but god bless her and you and I am anxious to see her progress

Funny story: Our girl Djamila had the same thing at about the same age. I know I've googled it back then, but I don't have the information ready any longer. For us that's years in the past.
All I can say is that it turned out to be nothing to worry about and vanished within a few weeks or months - don't really remember.

Bull Terrier puppies tend to get those temporary bumps in exactly this spot. Maybe Steve has some more input on it.

When she was little Djamila also started limping suddenly at some point without any plausible cause. Same thing: vanished - a little faster - within about two or three weeks.
I guess it could be related to them growing "into their eventual shape". Human kids also sometimes have aching joints, when growing.

BUT - I am no expert and if you are afraid that it could be something serious, just go the safe route and let a vet take a look at it. I only recommend to look for a vet familiar with the breed. Because they ALL have SOME advice ready, like to "tune" dogs" and have something to sell. But consulting vets who are not familiar with the breed sometimes tends to result in some funky conclusions.

Just one anecdote on vet experiences: One vet recommended to pull out Djamila's permanent fangs, just because it looked like they could grow too long into her jaw, because they were a little narrow when they came out and replaced her baby teeth.
We refused the procedure and her fangs turned out just fine.
