Bruiser's Progress
Our boy Bruce, short for Bruiser, is a little terror.
we love him to death.
He has come a long way from the days of ripping my hands apart with his puppy teeth, or play humping, or speed eating, there are many things he has overcome. I'm seriously baffled when i see other puppies not biting their owner's hands, it just doesn't seem fair.
Still many things yet to overcome.
I'm finding that alot of the advice on the forum or any dog training advice is to tire your puppy out, and he will behave. Uhm I think mines broken?!?! Bruiser is never tired, I have already made a post about his dragging where i said i am taking him biking. He runs, and runs and runs, and is NEVER done. He still has the energy to jump and lunge and bark and pull, it's surreal. But when i think about a dog chasing rats all day long.. ok i get it.
He cannot contain his excitement around new people or dogs, he will jump up on people, and he will nip other dog's ears and neck. Even after running, He has the energy to do these things. He even pees excitedly around certain people.
Finally he paces excitedly sometimes, he begins whining like he is looking for something and pacing around the house.
These are all things I still need a bit of advice with, there are other problems but i have developed a strategy for them. Although I would like to teach him how to catch his treats.

trust me though, they grow out of their rebellious stage when they mature.
