Ear advice
Hi.
I have 2 Bull Terrier pups. The male is 7 months and the female is 5 months. I thought my dogs ears would stand on their own because my old dog i used to have stood naturally after a few months so never knew about taping. I taped my males ears at about 5 1/2 months and one ear now stands up. The other ear stood for a couple weeks and in the past 3 or 4 weeks has dropped back down. I have taped his ears again hoping to get it up. Am i wasting my time at this age?? Also he is a big Bully and read they can take longer to stand. 22 inches and 29 kg (64 lb) at only 7 months and not overweight. All of my pups parents ears stood naturally. My female doesnt have her ears up but they are slowly starting to stand now they are being taped. She is much smaller than the boy. 18kg (40 lb) at 5 months.
Any help is much appreciated.
