Anyone use a tether ball?

My Wilma has so much energy, she has taken to trying to jump up and get the limbs of our pine trees. She is often successful and will hang from the branch and twirl around. We have to be careful playing with her because she gets so excited and her accidental bite can be quite painful. We thought getting her a tether ball would be a great idea. Has anyone used one with their BT? Any suggestions on a brand name that has with-stood your BT's jaws?

    Great question Kat. There is no such tetherball that will stand up to a Bull Terrier. I have gone through dozens of them due to lucky grasps from high jumps. However, I will continue to allow them to play because they love it and enjoy the exercise and fun.

    I don't use a tether ball, but I do have a flirt pole that my dogs go nuts after! The brand I have is squishy face, I also have their wrap around super tug, which is nice. You can wrap it around a tree trunk or sturdy branch.

    When our now ten month old puppy turned 8months old it's like a switch flipped and he was saying game on! He plays with every toy now, before only a couples interested him. He finally learned fetch! We used to call it chase the stick bc he would never bring it back but finally that clicked as well.
    When we go to the park and don't hv our toys he also has tried and succeeded in jumping up to latch into a dogwood trees branch. Lol and it's always when a ton of ppl are watching, we have gotten comments from whoaaa, cool to stay away from that dog.
    This weekend we are gonna make Stoeger a spring pole to see if he likes that!

    I went on ebay and bought a toy made by squishy face. It's called a flirt pole, tug toy combo. I replaced the toy on the tug with a knot rope, I hang it high enough that it doesn't touch the ground. Hank loves it

    Thanks for the suggestions! My husband made Wilma a flirt pole and she goes CRAZY for it !  I had never heard of such a thing. Anyway,She loves it and it really burns up some of pent up energy brewing inside :D Thanks again!
