We lost Scarlett Yesterday...
In Memorial...My
dearest friend,my beloved dog, to me you were not a pet, you were my
child, my baby, when you were sick you went to live with a friend, she
was there to guide you, help you. But you were just so ill, the good
lord wanted to take you early so that you can be in heaven, to be the
angel I always knew you were. Some dog's are different, some just have a
presence that can not be mistaken. Your not supposed to have favorites,
but she always was my favorite. She loved water, to loved to swim, she
loved running on a treadmill and running next to my bike. Naturally lazy
at home she loved to lounge and take naps, pressed against her favorite
people. Scarlett had two mommies that loved her more than anything, and
her love to us was a light that will never go out. We love you our
dearest Scarlett, and until I see you again, you will be in my thoughts
every day, and although I struggle deeply in the thoughts of losing you,
knowing you are not longer in pain lessens the blow greatly. Scarlett
was 3 1/2 years old when Cancer took her from us, but I can say from the
bottom of my heart in those three years she had people who loved her so
much and she lived a life full of so much joy, she did a lot in those
three years and she lived every day to the fullest.
