Kilacabar bloodlines
So I was on Facebook and read a comment of Kilacabar bloodlines having less than stellar temperament dogs in the line. Any truth to this? Both my dogs share this line and as we know I have good and "was" bad temperament issues. . Just peaked my interest to read this and was wondering on or any input of others.
Your actions speak so loudly I cannot hear your words.

Over the past 10 years I haven't seen too much come in the way of Kilacabar that was impressive and I don't think they're actively breeding or exhibiting much any more.
I've never hear that there was any negative aspects in regard to temperament issues within the bloodline. Most things noted on the bloodline were always of positive nature thus the reason so many others wished to utilize their bloodline for the betterment of their own.
Now a days when I see Kilacabar bloodlines within a pedigree the lineage is back in the 4th or longer generation. That had some very nice champion EBT's back then. Now if you visit their website you'll notice it hasn't been updated in about 6 or 7 years as though they just lost interest in updating their website.
I too have had (and still have) EBT's that show Kilacabar bloodlines in their pedigree and none of them have aggression problems. I have a lot of respect for the Kilacabar lines and think there was very good reason why so many others in England as well as outside the country sought their bloodlines for the betterment of their own.

Ps.... CM has a few Kilacabar grand sires/dams and he has an amazing temperament, very calm for a EBT, especially a male puppy BT!
