National Dog Show

I'm watching the National Dog Show on TV where there was a white EBT in the terrier group that didn't place among the top four.  So curiosity had me search if any EBT ever won Best in Show and see that a white Bull Terrier won back in 1918 at Westminster.  Probably not the same as the EBT as we know now.

  • Most defiantly not the same dog we see today, but still has a very similar characteristics. The last EBT to win was Rocky Tops Sundance Kid aka Rufus. Random fact! Rufus's chest was punctured by another dog and they had to drain it every now and then, that's why in some videos you can see it really swinging, it would fill with fluid.

  • This is a really interesting thread, Seon, had no idea of the 1918 championship.  Looking at the BT from 1918, he looks amazing.  I'm in awe of him as much as I am of today's BT.

Looking at the pictures of beautiful Rufus (RIP), he had one of the happiest faces.  Nice start to the New Year looking at these beautiful BTs.
