Toy recommendation thread

In our search for toys that don't get killed within a minute I thought this thread would be useful. Yesterday I bought Loki a jolly ball that has a rope going through it. I've never seen him go so berserk over a toy ever. Every time I give it to him he is relentless and will play with it non stop. So far it's been really durable.

OMG!  Where do I get one?  Everything I get Willie, she eats it.  Even Claxxton can tear up a toy in seconds.  That ball would have to be very durable.  The only thing we have found for Willie is a basketball, and eventually she will pop it.  Then she will eat parts so I have to be alert and take it away.  I keep basketballs stocked up for her.  Thanks.  :-*

@dianewright just search for jolly pets romp-n-roll I'm sure they can be found for a decent price online. I actually saw them at petco for 25bucks! Holy crap. I paid a measly 5 bucks. I think I'm gonna grab a few more. My friend has the original jolly ball with 2 German shepherds that are pretty strong chewers. He's had it forever and it's still holding up.

Yup, Stoge definitely loves his Jolly-Ball.

The Squishy-Face Studios Flirt Pole and Super Tug also seem to be quite durable with their fleece lures.

They're certainly worth a look for those seeking a Bullie-Proof toy.

I assume you use the flirt with each one of your pups separately?

It must be interesting to watch different Bullies technique when on the flirt.

Stoge has a few different approaches to get the lure.

At first I used it with all if them, they all chase it, but one will get the fleece and the other will get the rope and then they both shake the hell out if it, and last thing I want is for them to break the bungee cord. So now it's just one at a time with the two playing with the wrap around and the other with the pole. Everything is supervised though!

I've seen the jolly ball at Petsmart. I had a talk with 2 of the girls there about 2 weeks ago. I told them I needed a toy that was extreme chew proof. The one girl took me to the Nylabone section. Instead of a bone she showed me this ring that was chicken flavored and made for heavy chewers. I'll snap a pic in a sec but it's really held up!

I have used Nylabone for my dogs for years.  Yes, very durable.
