First BT Love
While we wait for a new puppy to claim, thought I'd share some pictures of my first Bull Terrier, Augusta. We live in New Orleans and had everything under 8 feet of water for around a month, so I was lucky that my Mom found some pictures that she took of Augusta. They were puppy-sitting, so the person in the pictures is my younger brother.
The last picture is a few months later that was taken when I visited my future husband's family. She was really happy in their backyard. Her head shape was starting to really fill out.
These pictures were taken 27 years ago, and Augusta was around 6 or 7 months. She had English championship bloodlines and was white with one black ear. She was truly a clown and goofy.
Our next dog was a Corgi, and was my youngest son's birthday present years after Augusta passed away. There's something about a Bull Terrier that is the only dog for me.
I have so enjoyed looking at pictures and laughing with everything that everyone shares on this forum. The memories are good, and Augusta is forever loved and missed.
We just got a new scanner that I'm trying to figure out, so apologies if they're kinda crooked.

Thanks for sharing the pics.
You must miss her dearly, only another Bullie will help fill that void.
Boyda, that was a happy day when I realized she had that roll of film that she took when they were puppy-sitting. It's a bittersweet thing. When you find something you thought was lost forever, it is pure joy. The down part is when you think of something and realize it might be gone forever. Thank goodness for family that find pictures now and then. It's like treasures of gold to me.
Seeing everyone's pictures makes me feel happy because there's such a fun spirit these dogs have, and they get into such mischief, and everyone has such beautiful BTs. I love this forum.
so when i had my own place with a yard of course it had to have a bullie in it,my wife had never had a bullie so she was not keen.
We got a bullie boy brock, beautifull black brindle and white.unfortunatelly after 3 years 2 of which was backwards and forwards to the vet every 2 to 3 weeks, thousands and thousands of rands worth of vet bills i eventually had to have him put down.
i was heart broken i had lost a member of my family,i said to my wife i NEVER want another bullie.it lasted for about 2 years yhen we got two pups, they about 6 months old now.dnt think you can ever fill a void they all to unique but the new bullie definately brings much joy to your life.
iv taken a new approach with my bulliesand a raw diet and they are happy and healthy.if i could give anyone advice it is dont beleive everything vets tell you.
ps-my wife is more crazy about EBT than what i am now .just took one bullie to turn her.lol
