Happy Veterans Day!! I want to thank the veterans on the forum, even though I don't know you well. You didn't know me when you served our country, and for that I'm extremely greatful! Thank you
Also a little late but it's hard to believe that my grandson is also now a Vet where he served 5 yrs with a tour in Afghanistan.
For the past two years, I've hosted a Disabled Vet Fishing Day here in the Sacramento Delta where a bus load of 40 or more Vets from Yountville Vets Home arrive and volunteers from local fishing clubs takes one or two on their boat to fish for the day. Afterwards we have a BBQ.

Thank you to the folks who put it all on the line to protect this country.
One Vet in particular I'm remembering on the eleventh hour is my buddy Cpl Jon Graham.
He survived action in Iraq and sadly lost his life just a couple weeks ago, while working a civilian job.
I know his wife and recently born child are missing him greatly...
RIP brother.
