Licking and Chewing on Feet
Jinx has always licked his feet a lot, but it is getting really bad. He has started chewing on them too. His feet are becoming raw and now he has sores from all of the licking and chewing. any ideas why he is doing this, or any ideas on how to break him from this?

The first place that will show signs of skin allergies are the feet. I've seen it and heard about it so many times. It obviously causes an irratation for the dogs but the paws are within reach to scratch and lick which can sometimes just make it worse.
Every time we get in a rescue dog that has red, raw feet, with no fur left on them the first thing we do is change their diet. 90% of the time this will be the underlining factor causing the allergy. Most often is caused from too much grain in their diet. However, sometimes it can be something else that they are allergic too. Often allergies can be seasonal as well where you'll notice your dog reacting more during certain times of the year.

That's a good food and I'm confident he'll do well on it. Please keep us informed on his progress.
