Which two of your Bullies produced Dozer? I remember you talking about Dozer before but I don't remember you mentioning the parents.

I like both Bullies!!! Heck, I like ALL Bullies. But I think I prefer the structure and conformation of Dozer. He appears to have more chest and head from the photos. However, if you could take those thick legs of Calxxton and put them on Dozer I think it would do him some good. His legs look a little small compared to his body size. Could be the picture though.

  • my prediction is

Claxton, i think dozer has just a few more faults then claxton claxton may have a weaker head but i think his body structure and shape are stronger over-all.

but from what i have been learning about BT judges, seems like many choose on personal prefrence :/

  • you right, I had someone comment on them who is big on showing, she said dozer's head is better but claxxton is better built, which is very true, claxxton's head is still developing and has changed a crap ton since i've had him, he may mature into a very nice head. None the less, I plan to show ONLY for fun, never for strict competition, im only going to show in las vegas, and I will probably never go out of my way to show, however its possible many years down the road i may become more serious, but for now, im just trying to get the hang of it! Im showing 3 dogs at this show in october unless ellie is in season at the time. I think ellie will most likely get pulled from the show since she will be in season or just barely out. I wont be able to control the boys at the show if she's in season and would rather avoid the chaos.

steve dozer is out of ellie and a dog from vegas named Beast. Just a very average looking bull terrier with nothing special to him, ellie put heads on all the pups but as they matured about 3 of them are very good looking the best being ellies daughter named "seven" thats in new york.

Well, again, I think they both look good. I also think ALL shows should be done in FUN like you explained. If everyone thought the same way you did many more would be attracted to it vice drawn away from it due to the volume of stuck up snobs who take away from the fun by looking to find fault with everyone else besides themselves.

Post a picture of Dozers sister - Seven. I'd like to see her.

  • when i went to my first show i was terrified...what i find rude is that no one controls their dogs (this is because they want them excited and energetic for the show)  and another lady showing bull terriers was letting her male lunge and jump at my dogs in a friendly way he wasnt mean at all but I had my demon child with me Bowzer and he WILL NOT allow that, I knew her name and I was like "kim...kim....KIM!" And she heard me and pulled him away and said "oh i forgot he's mean." And I was like jesus...how is that OK? And I was walking my dogs and some chihuahuas were in front of me (its so crowded dogs are shoulder to shoulder constantly) and i stoped while her dog was peeing and gave them space and she was like "THANK YOU" and i wasnt sure if she meant thanks for not letting my bull terriers eat her chis or if because most people just plow on through! HAHAHA

I had no idea what was going on, I just tried to copy everyone, when I went in to show Bowzer because my mentor told me I had to show him I strait said to the judge "I have no idea what im doing this is my first time." She was SO nice, I had bowzers ball and he was jumping everywhere and she said "it's okay, put the ball behind you, looked at his teeth, touched his balls (when he had them hes neutered now) and she was like "hes just fiery isnt he! dont worry i used to raise these guys!" I felt so much better, though Bowzer stood no chance because although he was 55 pounds he was TINY compared to the others who must have been 80 pounds. But Scarlett did beat another dog, and won a point towards her "showing career" hahah. The other dog looked JUST like her but much much smaller and was very nervous and timid and my dogs showed like it was nothing to them, never been in a ring but I practiced with them extensively. Everyone was shaking my hand and congratulating me which is very nice and i was still confused my mentor had to tell me later why...HAHAH! I honestly enjoyed the hell out of it, I am NOT a competitive person so I will always take it with a grain of a salt and just have fun with it. If someone dares be rude to me at a dog show I will show them how a BULL TERRIER owner handles that situation!!! AHHAHAH. I love that there are vendors there, where they sell all kinds of awesome stuff for dogs, and im looking forward to that too!!

I went to a bull terrier gathering in Arizona a long time ago, and I did experience some rudeness, I took Scarlett and Bowzer and my friend took her male Roscoe, all our dogs were on prong collars to keep them in line around all the dogs. It was obvious there were whispers because i heard "whisper whisper, those dogs are on prongs!" But these people had there dogs on show leads, and they were all gasping and choking and pulling hard and I wanted to say to them "at least our dogs can FRIGGIN BREATH!" Dog show or NOT, my dogs will not be allowed to act like idiots just because i want them to act high and mighty in a show!!
  • Ellies daughter and best puppy from the litter, Sally was named "seven" when she was with us

    as a puppy

they change a lot dont they???
  • sally is very lovely girl, love how short she is too.

i really wanna show too just for fun, the breeder of Chimera wanted me to wait for another litter of pups because Chimeras head wasnt as strong as alot of his pups are 9this is hte sires first litter)

but i just want to do it for fun just as an activity to become involved in, to get to meet some mroe bull terrier people in MI to talk to and learn from. and if i won some ribbons along they way thats cool but if not thats fine too.

glad the judge was nice Zerlett and understood bull terriers and understood there 'outgoingness' lol i wish we had a few small time shows around here even to go and watch. we have the one in marquette i got to go too this year, a mini bull terrier won but when me and my sister went to talk to the owner he said "hi, thanks' and left i was annoyed and disapointed.

"Seven" looks great. She's got a nice head. From the photo her head looks almost half the size of her body. How tall is she? She's got a real English look to her that I really like a lot. She's a real nice looking Bullie!!! Does not look like the common American style Bull Terrier. I love her!

  • I have no idea how tall she is haha, but i agree she does not look like she was bred in the us, and hard to imagine her dad was a very ugly bullie haha. She looks to me a lot like her mother, ellies strong genes really produced.

    image

I plan to keep some strong females from ellie in the near future, seeing as what she produces I will try to keep the genes strong and I would love to say years down the line I have 3 or 4 generations of ellies kids.
  • I agree show people can be so rude, they are very involved in what their doing and i assume just tired of talking. When I had a show lady come to my house and meet my dogs she adored ellie, said she would have loved to have her, she encouraged me to show scarlett in all breed shows and she was very dedicated to what she does, she also rescues. I have absolutely zero interest in talking to snobbish people, i can be so very overly gung-ho about talking to people about bullies that I have to try to tone myself down haha.
  • I THINK DOZER IS GOING TO WIN BUT CLAXTON IS A NIC BOY TOO.
