Introducing myself with pics of the dogs :)
Thought i would introduce myself and add some pics of the dogs because everyone likes pictures!
Been a Bull Terrier owner nearly 2 years now but i have loved them since forever. will never own any other breed of dog thats for sure!
decided to join becuase im member of several other BT forums that are just not active enough for me lol
i live in Upper MI and spend most of my time with my pets 3 cats, 2 rats, some fish and my 3 bullies.
anywho heres my pups
Cesar is going to be 2 years old OCT 11th, hes the sweetest dog youll ever meet super laid back and loves everyone and everything hes a big squish.
Sadie is a female who is 4 years old and has had between6 and 8 litters of puppies in her lifetime, shes actually Cesars mother. i was an idiot who bought from a BYB but thought it was okay because i was taken into there home to meet all the dogs and seen where they were housed and they lied and told me that they only would breed her once. i found out later when they offerd her to me for free the truth i was very shocked and dissapointed. Sadie is very nervous and very shy but super sweet she does have her problems im working hard to solve and help her get over she basically had to learn how to be a dog when she came to me she had no idea what a toy was or how to play but she is learning.
and then i have my newest member Chimera who is 14 weeks old she came from a good breeder and is a very low energy easy going girl though she has her moments i call her my little "sassifras" since shes very vocal and likes to sas the other dogs shes young and its a work in progress but i love her to bits and pieces

Thanks, glad theres no fighting and crap here, you invited me here i belive when you first started it and i had meant to join but for got and lost the link and just recently found it while looking for new forums to attend.
life with three is certiantly intresting, the most suprising part is its not the pup who keeps me on my toes but Sadie, shes a bal of nerves most of the time.
due to her nervousness im trying to find her a perfect home, i have had a few people intrested in her but none that "fit" her needs. shes great with people and shes great with other dogs untill they become excited then she becomes nervous and will try to correct them and make tehm be calm and i have to correct her and send her somewhere to chill out where she doesnt have to deal with the two young uns wrestling and playing. would love to keep Sadie but shes so nervous with the other dogs playing i dont feel its fair to either of them Cesars snapped at for playing and Sadie is a nervous wreck 24/7 i work with her nervousness 24/7 it seems like only touching her or talking to her when shes calm. shes a sweety though and loves to cuddle.
thank chimera is a fiesty lil thing i must admit but SOO mellow with people and SO obedient i swear if shes trying to chew on somthing shes not supposed to all i have to do is tell her AHAH! once or twice and she leaves it right alone and shes the least mouthiest puppy i have ever met she NEVER mouths you she licks but never mouths or nips its sort of odd o.0 i agree im more partial to the solid tris myself but im glad to have her color was the last thing i was careing about. Chimera looks just like her dad identical markings except for her dad has a white tail tip and she doesnt. im hopeing ill be able to show her when she is a bit older seems like she would do well at it she ignores people and dogs in public when i show her food and stands perfectly still while i feel her up as well as strangers feel her up lol.
but we shall see how she developes! Khaleesi thats the black brindle pup i seen in your video playin? shes a cutie love her additude seems super mellow and happy go lucky! wish i lived closer to more bull terrier owns heck i wish i knew more people who had nice dogs for these guys to play with seems like everyone with a dog round here is terrified of Cesar dumb bells dont know what htey are missin!

Yup thats Sadie! she was given to me by the breeder he told me to breed her (which i will NOT) i wasnt really wanting her but i couldnt leave her in the situation to likly be bred again by them. so i took her hopeing to keep her but the longer shes been with me the more i can see she wold do best in a household with oder calmer dogs and not much excitment. as these two keep her on her toes and make her nervous.
i have had several people ask about her but all of them so far are looking for a bull terrier to be a play mate to there young children or younger dogs and that would be a bad bad match. im gonna be super choosy about where she goes so she doesnt end up in a shelter or worse.
as far as your male goes i wouldnt worry bout him. when my male was going thru puberty between 7 months and 1 year he was such a butt hole and he would try to body slam my nephew and would try to guard the food bucket (when i fed kibble) and would take snaps at people for walking near his food i was so worried about it but i worked hard and corrected him everytime he tried that crap and kept him in line life was super strict for him he would excercise then be teetherd to me most of the day and now hes the sweetest dog youd ever meet! hes amazing around little kids and never knocks them down or gets into there faces to lick obsessivly and he can have strange random children just run up and jump onto his back and hes happy about it. just be consistant with him, keep after him and before you know it he will be a real doll
My fingers are crossed that Sadie finds a loving and permenant home. It's sad to hear she keeps getting past around.

well so far im only her second home so im being careful about her new home thats why i want it to be perfect so it is permanant. and if she never finds it she will stay here with me but its such stressful place for her i would rahter she found a home where she didnth ave to deal with the roughhouseing of these two.
I think Brutus will grow out of this stage as he matures. His character and temperament will change a lot as he gets older and matures. You're training him well and spending a lot of time with him. His loyalty and obedience will kick in soon and he'll become more attentive to you and want to please you vice push your buttons by being onery. Some bull terriers are more thick headed than others and require more time to train to socialize correctly.
