As some of you may know Dakota is my first bull. I notice she farts pretty often. Her poops are good and she doesn't seem to have any food sensitivity as of yet. She just gassy here and there. Is this just a bully thing? lol sorry for this silly question

Normally a dog with a lot of gas is either being fed poor quality foods or the dog is eating too many treats. A bull Terrier can be on the best diet in the world but that one time you decide to give him some table scraps he'll turn into a farting machine.

Hmm i think it may be the treats, I didn't think of that. We been doing a lot of training this week. And she has been really gassy. I'll add in more toy reward instead and see if that makes a difference

we give our BT 2 Tablespoons of non fat greek yogurt daily just for this purpose! It really helps but takes a few weeks to realize the difference. pic of our BT Ruby

I give our crew 5 chunks of mango in their morning feed and it really helps with the gas. People who have gastric bypass surgery are encouraged to drink mango juice to cut down on their gas so I thought I would try the mango on the dogs and it works. It’s non-fattening and they love it.
