I just lost mine after emergency surgery for bowel obstruction, looking for a rehome or rescue in NJ. I adopted a standard sat but he bit my boyfriend on the butt when he was ripping up cardboard and he got scared of the dog so bad he made me return him. Poor guy.
They are apparently more than a bull terrier rescue. They raise funds for all sorts of things. They will rehabilitate him and find him a suitable home. Finding out how to be put on the list that he is on, well that's another story. I am wondering what his history is and temperament. I have not been able to find that. Nor have I been able to track what state he was taken to. I will continue to search for a little longer. But not going to hold my breath. Me and adopting an EBT is not looking to be feasible. My Girl will soon be less likely than ever to be tolerable of an addition. She has been the only dog for 2 years plus. We shall see.
I hope you're able to find a sibling for McKenzie, I have my fingers crossed for you! I didn't know it was that difficult to adopt a bull terrier. I know you've been wanting to adopt one for a while now from your previous posts. I hope you find one soon
I didn't think it was going to be so hard either. Sometimes I just feel like getting one from a breeder. It is a reliable and more certain thing. Thank you for the well wishes.
This is a want and not a need, so we play it by ear.
