Nose development

I recently put a deposit on an Ebt puppy, she was born Jan. 11. I love the exaggerated egg shaped nose of the breed. I’ve started to notice a very defined dip I the pups nose.

Could you guys explain how the nose develops with age and what physical characteristics to look for to get the very round shaped head?

I would think the best place to start is with the Mom and Dad what do their noses look like ?

@corey90260 is exactly right. Judging the look, structure, or conformation of a young puppy is near impossible. But by looking at the length and shape of this puppy's nose and muzzle I would not think she'd have the roman finish you think she'll have. Please post a photo of the sire and dam.

You have a beautiful pup

I’m sure he will grow to be quite handsome

To give an example of how they mature here is one of mine at 8 weeks from the side and than a bit older
