I have a 3 year old bull terrier Archie, he was a rescue, we have had him for a few months now.
He seems to have skin allergies, he gets bumps under his skin they form scabs and fall off leaving a scar. He gets them on his body and recently his face.

He might be allergic to gluten. Try to put him on gluten free diet for couple of weeks.

I had the same issues when on raw diet, I took out chicken and it cleared up after a few weeks. Mine were not sores in that they weeped but more lumps

Chicken can cause those bumps too, @swbaggies is right.
When Vinnie had those bumps and raw paws, we switched to gluten free dry food (we feed him with Blue Buffalo Wilderness Duck Recipe), no chicken, wheat, grains or soy should be in his food. Same with dog treats, just check ingredients. Don't give him any bread or cookies. 2-3 weeks should be enough to see if your bully is allergic to gluten or chicken.

Do you have recommendations for gluten free chicken-less puppy food? My 4 month old has itch legs with some bumps on her back. We feed her victor puppy food now

We fed Vinnie Blue Buffalo Wilderness Rocky Mountain Recipe Puppy Red Meat Dinner dry food.
When he turned 12 mo we switched to Blue Buffalo Wilderness Duck recipe Adult, he likes it a lot. He is crazy for Wilderness Bayou Blend with Alligator & Catfish but it disagrees with his stomach. And as any fish-based food, it gives him fishy breath

. So duck recipe is the best choice for us.

Vinnie is a handsome boy! I’m going to try blue buffalo duck. That fishy breath is a killer. We originally thought she had have been bit by a flea there’s a stray cat that loves to go into our trash, and our Evie loves to do her business in that same spot. We took her to the vet and was given frontline for fleas everything cleared up but allergic reaction is back so I’m assuming it has to be the Victor chicken food. Other then her being itchy she’s her hyper self! @Brooklyn
