Hi all, our Beau is black with brindle in his face and lower legs and has of cause a white mark on his chest, reading on his KC papers it’s says he’s tricoloured but when I read post on here it says as far I’m aware that Beau’s colouring should state black brindle. Do I need to change KC papers or just leave it as it is no intention to stud or so

Thanks @Neil seen this one as well and I keep it black brindle but do I have to change KC papers as with cars v5 if respray other colour.

Cute puppy you don't see too many in that colour. I see your in the south east did you get her from a local breeder. Enjoy the early puppy stage I know I don't miss it :-t

Hi@Mickjameslenehan, indeed local to us and yes rare to see an black brindle as him and we understand what you don’t miss, he is like a shark on legs and is just under 10 weeks now so a long time to go but he’s also very cuddly

Yeah we had a real struggle with ours as a puppy nipping and growling at the kids then around 4mths he just changed into a completely different dog so just a case of riding it out. When he is a little older you should consider joining the Southern Eastern Bull Terrier Club they have open shows several times a year and hold bully walks it's one of the few occasions you get to meet other other bully owners.

Your puppy is a Black Brindle so if the registration papers have him listed as a Black, Tan and White (Tri) they have him listed incorrectly. Black Brindle is not a rare color, at least not here in the USA.

Thanks Steve, we, my wife and myself are new to bull terriers and we haven't seen one here where we live and more people on the forum tell us that you don't see them that much so we assumed "rare", my better half didn't like the looks of a white one for me any colour as long character is ok, from the 6 pups Beau chose my wife he made constant contact and went to sleep within a second.
At the moment we have a land shark in the house and nips in everything when he's near one of us the little bugger
